Today has been an incredible day!
First thing as far as incredibles go, no mosquito bites for me this morning, Yaaaay! Poor Dr. Tonya and Holly were eaten up yesterday though :(
I stayed up too late last night, but today is my host "Father"'s birthday, so we stayed up until midnight last night to sing happy birthday for him and to cut the cake!
My beautiful host family in Dhaka!
First thing on our agenda today was to visit some former projects Rotary has accomplished in the area, including a low-cost shelter, where we fell in love with the beautiful children that wanted to follow us and talk to us and just smile at us as we walked around and took pictures :)
(P.S. I wanted to adopt these two little girls, they were too adorable!)
Then we visited an orphanage / school sponsored by Rotary and the RI Fiscal Agent for the Bangladesh District...
And then we toured the garment factory owned by the same Fiscal Agent, Jamal
And they gave us some pretty sweet t-shirts as gifts!
We are on our way to the Welcome Dinner in our honor, so hopefully I will be able to post more later!
