Chittagong is an amazing city, filled with wonderful and warm people!
We have been going non stop since we arrived- as soon as we stepped off of the plane, we were greeted by a few of the Hosts who were able to make it, including my lovely host- Sima (Sp?), Sizzil (Holly's host) and Zabeida (Dr. Tonya's host). We were welcomed with flowers and hugs, then whisked off to a club meeting at the Chittagong club. We did our presentation, and were able to chat with a few of the members afterwards.
I am hoping Holly or Meredith were able to take photos of that club, I didn't have my camera ready :(
Then we had about two hours to rest before our next club meeting, but since they were kind enough to offer to take us to a wedding, we wanted to try to cram some shopping into that time!
We all managed to find outfits at Aarong, and then we had to drive to back quickly to Chittagong club so we could present at Chittagong Sagorika Rotary club as well....
Then Sizzil took us back to her house to help us get ready, because even though we didn't get Saris, our outfits still took some lessons to wear correctly.... I am depending on Holly to post pictures of that! (we decided instead of all taking the same picture, we would be sure to share instead)
Then we went to a traditional wedding, where the women were GORGEOUS and the venue was very fancy :)
And we finally went home around 11pm or midnight, we were exhausted!
We are meeting for lunch now, so I will update again later with details of our second day here!

GSE Team from Arizona (D-5510)USA to District 3280, Bangladesh, are amazing, gracious & their presentation was excellent at our club meeting (Rotary Club of Chittagong Sagorika). It is their generosity that commented about their presentation like that. We all enjoyed their fillings, Let's hope for their stay to be safe, pleasant & full of meaningful.....................Rtn.
