1/26 - Khulna Jute Mills, Sea Food Industry, Picnic
Today we visited the Moon Star Jute Mill which was very interesting. Now we know why Bangladeshi's think our hair is fake...it looks just like jute!
Next, we went to the Rupsha Sea Food Industry. It was an amazing process on how shrimp is processed and packaged. Not to mention we saw the biggest shrimp in the world which looked like lobster. We've had some of the best seafood in Khulna!
We attended another annual picnic of Rotary Club Khulna at the Cable Industries which was a beautiful location along the river. We played an intense game called "pass the pillow" (similar to hot potato) and Meredith won!
We attended the Port City Rotary Club and afterwards went to a social club and have met so many great people.
