17-20 Jan 2013 - Chittagong!!

I fell in love with Chittagong and the people. It's a beautiful town along the river where everyone helps each other and becomes one big family.

We were greeted with a beautiful bouquet of flowers at the airport by our host families. Sizzil and her son, Azmain (who's 12 years old) were so sweet to welcome me in their beautiful home. I had such a great time with them that we'd stay up until 2am talking and laughing. Sizzil is an amazing business owner (interior design & now opening a restaurant) and is an inspiring role model for all women. I'm going to be so sad to leave them.

We've done so much in the past few days and only pictures can describe this amazing journey...

Love visiting the schools! Bangladesh is becoming one of the fastest growing country's for literacy and education growth. The students are extremely bright and so adorable!!

Studies have shown that Bangladeshi people are some of the happiest in the world. They are known for economically having little, yet being very large at heart. They have a very rich and deep culture. 

Beautiful Foy's Lake and had fun at the Amusement Park...too much fun!!

Sizzil painted Henna on my hand...a beautiful wedding tradition (don't worry...it wasn't my wedding) ;)
